How we help
Psychologist Bunbury and Busselton
Approach
Looking after your gut health helps your well-being. Looking after your mind with expert psychological care can in turn help your gut health. With the growing recognition of the importance of the mind-gut connection, psychogastroenterology has emerged as one of the most important advances in the field of gut health. Mind-gut disorders are common and affect about one third of people in different ways.
Patrick’s approach is evidence-based, thoughtful, and tailored to you. He uses therapies such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based strategies, and hypnosis, adapting treatment to suit your needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Patrick stays closely linked with your GP, colorectal surgeon, gastroenterologist and other health professionals to support more connected care and better long-term outcomes.
